Girl Power!,
the national public education campaign sponsored by the Department
of the Health and Human Services to help encourage and empower 9-
to 14- year old girls to make the most of their lives. Girls at 8
or 9 typically have very strong attitudes about their health, so Girl
Power! seeks to reinforce and sustain these positive values among
girls ages 9-14 by targeting health messages to the unique needs,
interests, and challenges of girls.

Your Time-Their
Future is a national public education campaign developed by the
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Campaign urges adults
to become involved in volunteering, mentoring, and other efforts that
help young people, ages 7 to 14, participate in positive activities
that build skills, self discipline, and competence. As a result, the
Campaign expects to prevent new use and reduce existing use of alcohol,
tobacco, and other drugs among youth.
-
The Reality
Check Campaign is a nationwide effort to prevent and reduce the
growing problems associated with marijuana use among youth. Because
substance abuse issues are best addressed by people who know their
communities, the campaign has been designed for delivery at the local
level.
